OUR STORY
WCC Crane Solutions Inc. was established in 2003 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The mission of WCC Crane Solutions Inc. is to provide clients across British Columbia and North America with engineering consulting services of all types of overhead cranes; from concept planning through to completion, with highly professional expertise using common sense and practical experience.
Since 2003, WCC Crane Solutions has serviced over 2,000 projects ranging from $1K to $200K in consulting fees for the design of special application uses for cranes and hoists as well as various custom design projects and turnkey engineering solutions. Clients have included manufacturing industries, mines and sawmills throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Alaska, Washington States, and Oregon.
Our Team
Ranislav "Rano" Trapara, P. Eng.
- Owner and Chief Engineer -
With over 40 years of experience as a Design Engineer, Rano has specialized in material handling and hails with diverse experience that spans the globe.
Since opening up WCC Crane Solutions 15 years ago, Rano has grown the business significantly. He has worked all over Western Canada as well as the United States.
Rano lives in Vancouver and has 3 grown children and 1 still growing if you count his dog Maksim.
George Grujic, M.Sc, P.Eng
- Civil Engineer -
George has been involved in civil and structural engineering for over 8 years. He began his career in Serbia before moving to Canada 7 years ago and has been with WCC Crane Solutions since 2014.
George is always expanding his knowledge in the engineering field and his main interest is in FEA analysis and load testing of Crane and other material handling components.
George lives in Burnaby and has one child.
Vesna Zdrale
- Accounting Manager -
Vesna has been involved in the business from an accounting and administrative aspect since the inception of the company in 2003.
Vesna is responsible for the full accounting cycle as well as payroll and tax calculations.
Vesna lives in Vancouver and has 2 grown children, and 1 still growing if you count her dog Maksim.
Sasha Kevac
- Marketing Consultant -
Having worked in the fields of sales and marketing for over 9 years and having experience in various industries that span from software to the heavy duty tools, Sasha brings a wide breadth of knowledge with him.
Sasha has been managing various branding projects for WCC since 2010 on a contract basis.
Sasha lives in Vancouver with his girlfriend and 2 cats.
Maksim
- Corporate Wellness Consultant -
Maksim has been involved in the field of wellness and health consulting for all of his professional career. One could say that he was born for it.
In charge of fitness and well being, Maksim always strives to make the workplace a happier place.
He lives in Vancouver's Yaletown where he is very involved and well known in the community.
